Flyin by the seat of my pants!

Hi Everyone in blogland!

Well I have started a new venture as I have recently become a demonstrator/representative for Stampin' Up!

While I am still sorting and finding my way around on their site as well as figuring out how I am going to add this into my already hectic life, I thought I would share the experiences with you as I go along.

My real reasons for joining are actually rather selfish, I think they call it being an SU hobbiest. I think that means for the most part it really is my way of getting stuff for myself at the demo prices and selling to all of my scrap gal pals. Although I think most of my gal pals SU supplies far exceed mine.

I'm not exactly a scrap booker, not even a card maker as such, rather I am more of a mixed media artist. But over the years, the scrap booking industry of products has come up with many tools, and mixed media products to use in scrap booking and card making that many of these items have crossed over into mixed media art creations.
  • I luv luv luv paper of any kind.
  • I love to distress paper with paints and inks
  • I love to embellish my projects with found objects and dimensional decorations
  • I love making my own embellishments.
  • I love to tear paper.
  • I love cutting paper into shapes
Are you getting the idea? Yeah there are so many gadgets, tools, and delicious inks, papers and more already created that I can use in my projects. Including of course an awesome collection of stamps with matching die cuts.
Sigh....big big sigh....so many projects, so little time.......
